AIMM Client receives coveted "Benny Award"
AIMM received word today that their client, Mark Gow, Director of Human
Resources for IAPWorldwide Services has been awarded the 2007 Employee Benefit
News Benefits Professional of the Year Award. He will be featured in an
upcoming edition of Employee Benefits News Magazine, and will receive the award
at the Annual Employee Benefits Conference to be held in September in
Dallas.
Why not let AIMM help you to be the hero of your self-funded major
medical health plan(s) by improving the quality of health care your plan members
receive as a way of controlling your health plan costs?
Here's what AIMM did for Mark's Health Plan:
Year 1 - At the end of year one of AIMM interventions,
the self-funded health plan had gone from a 3.5 million dollar deficit to a 4.5
million dollar surplus! ER visits almost disappeared, and premature birth
virtually ended. The savings were used to enhance benefits, and the plan now
offers preventative health services at NO COST to members.
Year 2 - In 2005, despite enhanced plan benefits and
significantly improved quality of care, and in spite of double digit national
trends, IAPWorldwide Services experienced flat claims costs. Plan participants
actually saw the real impact of progressive, patient-centric medical
management.
In 2005, more than 54% of the total health plan population was touched
by A.I.M.M. services. Nearly twice the number of diabetics went to their primary
care physicians to have their HgBA1c checked in 2005 as did in 2004.
Patient-Centric Chronic Disease Management resulted in over 7,000 total nursing
activities in 2005. Only 50 of the 1044 potential patients identified chose not
to actively participate in the program.
The Year 3 Case Study will be released within 2 weeks. If you would
like to receive a copy, please contact us. Let's just say that the results are EVEN
BETTER than years 1 and 2!!!
