AIMM Integrates
Resource Materials into Web Site Library to Facilitate Patient
Education
Columbus, OH, August 1, 2007: Ault International
Medical Management, LLC AIMM unveiled the latest enhancement to their program
today. The newly released Patient Education Library is available with well over
6,000 patient educational materials in English and Spanish. Topics range from
anesthesia to women's health. Resources are added daily.
The On-line Patient Education Library allows health plan members to
order specific written patient education materials at no cost to the patient.
When a group allows members to access these educational services, materials are
mailed to the member. The AIMM RN is then notified to call the member and
provide additional education on the topic of concern. The benefit of this
service is obvious as it is a documented fact that people learn best when
motivated and accepting of their need for knowledge. Future enhancements
to this service include access to interactive tutorials and a tracking system.
The tracking system will document which patients request information in
particular categories. When new materials are added to the library in their
chosen category members are notified by e-mail. The tutorials will take
otherwise-difficult topics and present them in a fashion that might be simpler
to understand.
